For southern food in Georgia, you can’t beat Gladys Knight’s Chicken and Waffles restaurant. The “Empress of Soul” has turned her eye from music to food and let me tell you, nothing is more soulful (and sinful) than southern chicken and waffles. Watch Adam Richman fawn over the famous star and her famous food.

Satisfy your sweet tooth at the Sweet Auburn bread company. From fresh muffins to homemade cookies and 3-layer cakes, this bakery has sure made its mark. Be sure to try the Sweet Potato Cheesecake that had a former president raving about this little Hotlanta Hotspot.

Atlanta is filled with metropolitan entertainment like shopping at the Atlantic Shopping station!

If you’re looking for a real treat, head over to the World of Coca-Cola for a tour of the bottling process and, even better, the 4-D theater! Finish it off with a trip to Pemberton Café for hand-dipped cones and ice cream coca-cola floats!

If you’re feeling newsy, the CNN Building is just across the way where you can take the studio tour and see and hear first-hand what goes on at CNN’s headquarters during a live show!

A city wouldn’t be nearly as much fun without a little wild life and the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta brings the wildlife right to you! The dolphin encounter, penguin encounter, and even otter encounter let you get up close and personal with these fishy friends!
