Kyle Ulmer

Nurse Recruiter

What do you enjoy most about your work?

I enjoy getting to know new nurses and hear about their experiences. It makes it so much more rewarding when you have that relationship with them and can place them where they want to be!

Where did you grow up?

I was born and raised on the westside of Cincinnati! West side, best side!

What's on your travel wishlist?

The top places on the list right now are Iceland and a backpacking trip throughout Europe. Also, my wife and I plan to make it to every national park in the US and are already well on our way!

Tell us about your family (or pets!):

My wife and I have a Bernedoodle (Bernese mountain dog and Poodle) named Bryce. She's a goofy big teddy bear that thinks she's a lap dog! She's very social and is everyone's best friend.

Who is your favorite nurse character from a show or movie?

I have a tie between Gaylord Focker from the Meet the Parents movie series and Ann Perkins from Parks and Rec. Honorable mention to Nurse Ratched from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest for the classic movie fans!

What's your favorite food?

Favorite food are Skyline Cheese Coneys. In a landslide. I could eat Skyline every day for the rest of my life!

What song is played most from your music collection?

I received a record player for Christmas a few years ago. I've built up a decent collection of vinyls but the one that is always playing is the Rumours album by Fleetwood Mac. Go Your Own Way and Dreams are my favorite songs on the album.

What's your all-time favorite hobby?

My favorite hobby is hiking. My wife and I love going to national parks and hiking the best trails we can find. So far, the best trails we've hiked are the Kalepa Ridge Trail in Kauai, Hawaii(will never be topped) and Angel's Landing in Zion National Park.
